My parents have a very basic Kenmore self-defrosting
refrigerator.
Model Number: 106.8617261
Before I describe the problem with this refrigerator, I'd liked
to see an exploded diagram so I can use the proper name
for each of the parts that may be involved.
It doesn't have to be this exact model. Anything similar
would be fine.
If I don't have a diagram I'm going to sound like a complete
idiot. You know, this little box thing, attached to the cup
shaped thing, etc.
I did a quick Google search. No luck.

You already let the cat out of the bag. Now we know you do not know refrigerators. So just go ahead and ask away. No use sounding intelligent now, by asking us about evaporator coils, hot mullions, and stuff. The word "thingy" will do. :D
