I was given this TV on 2/16/2008. It worked fine until September 2009 when my DishTV receiver had to be replaced. I have no manual. I DO have the remote control. The only thing I can get to display is a blue screen with the channel 91 showing upper right corner. I have tried using the setup button on the front of the TV and on the remote. (also I cannot find any hidden compartment on front of TV that some say should reveal additional settings) The limited options I do see will not stay put to whatever I set them to. (If there is an 'enter' setting or similar, I cannot find it). I have had NO luck finding a manual online through RCA or Thompson SA
(who took over RCA in 1986, I believe). I just wish to learn how to setup my 1988 RCA Colortrak F20590HG and hopefully how to use it. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks.

The channel 91 means it's not picking up any active channels .What channel is your sat box outputing on to the tv?

In response to your question:
What channel is your sat box outputing on to the tv?
I must say I'm not exactly sure what you mean. Are you referring to choosing either channel 3 or 4? If so, Everything is supposed to be set to channel 3. I use a VCR and it is supposed to be set to 73, and it is. Everything worked great until DishTV sent a repairman w/a new receiver, which he made sure the main TV in living room was set up fine. (the receiver is a dual which allows a TV in another room to work off the one receiver. Unfortunately, he did not check the second TV to make sure it came in, and I didn't even think about it myself.) Since then I've made one phone teck call which lasted over 30 minutes attempting to resolve the problem. It did not. My patience was not up for longer as they kept saying my TV must be the problem. Yet it worked perfect until the replacement receiver was installed. I just KNOW it is something simple like a channel setting, etc., but not a clue as to where or which device. The TV did have a black with snow screen and channel 4 displaying. I changed it to channel 3, which worked. Next time I turned TV on to continue my quest to view an actual picture on the screen, it would only show the blue screen w/91. No way to change the channel on the TV. If I totally am not answering your question, please forgive my ignorance. I'm trying to learn! Thanks for your help!

Looks like the output to the second tv is no longer channel 73.You'll need to get into the dish menu and check what channel it's using for the second set.
