We are planning on redoing our floor. I want to put heat under it and will also use ditra. What is the avg cost of a medium priced tile? How much should it cost me to do around 325 sq ft? Thanks.

A medium priced tile to me costs at least $3 if ceramic and triple that if natural stone. Too difficult to give you a price to install. Prices vary from location to location. Also, there would be different costs for tiling over concrete then plywood, because plywood would require installing cement board for starters. In my area, to straight lay ceramic tile over a perfect substraight (cement slab) would start at $4/sqft.

I believe that ditra allows you to not have to use cement board. Thanks for the response.

True, but they will add a charge to install the Ditra, but it will be less time consuming then installing cement board.

Brands of what? Tile? Just stop by a local tile/flooring shop and look at their displays. Many different manufacturers of tiles out there. Daltile, Marazzi, etc are a few well known brands.
