Locate where they are getting in and make note of it. Be prepared to perform the repairs to those areas. Scatter mothballs in the attic area. They cannot stand naptha and will leave within a few days. That is when you do the repairs to the entrance holes. Doing it earlier will just leave a bad smell of dead squirrels in your attic.
