I have an outdoor flood light - non-motion - where one light is working and the other doesn't. Bulbs are fine but one socket won't work - just started about 2 weeks ago. Any suggestions - other than swapping the fixture?

Welcome to the forums! You could just have a wire that has slipped from a wire nut going to the bad socket. De-energize the circuit, pull the fixture and inspect your wiring, as I am sure you will find an errant wire connection.

Also...could be the center contact for the bulb. Sometimes they get corroded or bent down and they don't make contact anymore. Turn the breaker off and see if the "finger" at the bottom is ok...
