Hello guys, hopefully you can assist me on correcting my VCR problem we are currently having.
We like to watch old movies on the VCR but ever since we got it like 10 years ago we were never able to watch VCR movies. We tried everything. The weird thing is the DVD player works but the VCR doesn't.
It's a two in 1 system, so there is a place for VCR and DVD. Everything is hooked up correctly.
We pop the VCR into the drive and it starts up, it plays, you can hear the sound but the picture isn't there. There are like a ton of options for the display as far as the TV. The problem is I looked over the manual a 100 times and the options and buttons it says to push don't bring up on the menus.
My system is a SA-HT800V

If anyone can shed some light as to what I can do to bring the picture up. We even tried 1-4 channel, Video 1-4 and all the other outputs there are for the system.

Acording to the manuel you MUST connect the " video out " of the unit to the tv to watch video from the vcr.

So we can't use both, we have to use one or the other? If not, do I have it hooked up wrong?
