I have a 53 in tv RCA projection premier home theater. menu screen keeps popping up and it mutes itself when menu screens keep popping up.

I've never seen that problem on a RCA projection tv.I sugesest removing the remote from the room to eliminate that as the problem.Next Check to see if the menu button on the set itself may be jammed in.
