I have an older GE gas range (modle jgbso4 en1) and the surface burners and oven wont come on. On the surface burners when they were working properly, they would click, then self light. Now I can only light them with a match. Also the oven will not light either. It has a round glow bar that I took out, stripped the wires and plugged into a wall socket and it did glow. I am suspecting it's the oven igniter that's gone bad cause I had a similar problem like this before, but it seems strange that if the oven igniter was bad that it wouldn't affect the surface burners from igniting or am I wrong on this account. thanks bob
