Beer 4U2I've just bought a new house and it has one of those unattractive parrallel cement block driveways with the grass (or in this case weeds) growing down the middle,

I only want a very low budget fixer upper, and was just thinking of digging up the center and putting some colored gravel in it, and spraypainting the cement bits. Would that work?

I've no experience with concrete or driveways so I don't know how ludicrous i sound, if not what can you recommend?

The gravel would work but so would more block. I wouldn't spray paint anything outside. You never know where that paint might go.

Thanks for your response, how much would more concrete cost on average? I looked around before but everywhere seemed to make it a big expensive deal :gmorning:

To get a price on concrete, measure the length, width & depth of the area & call a ready mix company. They will tell you how much the pour will cost. As I said before, laying more block or brick is another option.
