I have a 42 in Hitachi plasma t.v. that is cutting off the heads on the screen. What might be the cause of this?

Welcome to the forums.

Have you checked the picture or display settings? The TV may be set to zoom 4:3 instead of widescreen 16:9.

on which source does this problem occur? Do you have a cable box, satellite rx, etc? It could also be a resolution setting issue with one of these. If you can get me the info as to which type of unit you have I would be able to better assist you.

Post a better discription of the problem.Is the picture black at the top of the screen where the heads are?Or does it look like the picture is to big for the screen?
