Does this need to be sealed? If so, how often and can anyone point me in the right direction of what product to use. Thanks!

It would be better to follow the manufacturer's recommendations as to the care of the countertop. Usually the seller or installer will have printed information for you to go by. If not, post back, as I am sure someone can give some advice.

Generally granite tops do not require they be sealed, however it won't hurt and might help. There may be a few exceptions, but all you told us is that it's granite. There are hundreds, probably thousands of different granites, and they're not all the same. So, give us a name and any info you may have. What were you told?
