I have a kenmore model #790 gas range. The cooktop works fine. When I press bake and set the temperature (lets say 350 for example) everything is normal. It goes into preheat mode and after a short period of time the panel beeps solid and the temperature display scrolls down to 170 degrees in 5 degree increments. It remains beeping solid until I press the stop/clear.
If I try to use the broiler on high it starts to heat up then automatically switches to low.
Any help will be greatly appreciated
