I am looking into buying a new heat pump system for my home.
I now have a lennox system but I am thinking about buying a new carrier system. The dealer says they have more going for them at this time than the lennox.

The carrier dealer says there is not much difference between the 4 ton comfort line than the 4 ton performance series. He said there is a computer on the performance to work with the control panel and the comfort series does not have one.

Here is what he is setting me up with,

25HCB648, FV4CNFOO5tOO

or

25HPA648, FV4CNOO5TOO

Does the HPA on the last group mean it is a performance series?

So again what is the difference between the performance and comfort series?

THANK YOU.

I like the communication ability of the performance model but you would need to upgrade the fancoil to take advantage of it.

The Performance looks better and runs quieter.

Not a big fan on variable speed fan indoor high replacement cost after warr runs out but very efficient .............
