Hello,
I have a Whirlpool Gold
Ultimate care 2,
Quiet Wash 2,
Model# GSQ9612KQ0
that came with the house I bought.
Now its not working well.
The tub fills, stops, but does not drain and go to next spin cycle.
I tried to move the knob. The best it does is agitate, stops and does not drain.
I had to scoop the water out.
I've since done some research online that suggests the water-pump.
I came across this site to ask further questions.
Clean Up Common Washing Machine Problems | DoItYourself.com (http://www.doityourself.com/stry/repairwasher)
Also suggests the water-pump.
I was able to open the washer and locate the water-pump.
Before removal I disconnected the hose from bottom of tub to the water-pump.
I poured water into the tub and the water flowed out ok, thru the disconnected hose.
I have since disconnected the water-pump.
Prt#: 3363892 -or-
3352493.
I poured water into the inlet and it poured out thru the outlet, ok.
I was able to spin the water-pump, with no restriction.
So in summary, there are no blockages in the water-path.
I've isolated the water-pump, so how can I tell the problem is the water-pump.
Peace,
GR

Hello David,
Not sure of your question.
What is "motor" ?
The washer does not drain, but it does agitate with the water in it.
It never drains and never gets to the next cycle[spin]
