I have two garage doors which I'm trying to control with my concord4 system

I have the following

Panel
Ground ------|------Garage door 1 Black wire (on the wall switch)
Output 1 -----|------Garage door 1 Red wire (on the wall switch)

Output 2 ------| -----Garage door 2 Red wire (on the wall switch)
Ground--------|------Garage door 2 Black wire (on the wall switch)

I have programmed both ONBOARD OPTIONS-OUTPUT 1&2 to 00000
I have programmed both OUTPUT TEXTS to GARAGE DOOR 1 and 2

When I hit 772 to fire Output 2, it states OUTPUT 2 IS ON and the 2nd garage door opens fine.

Wihen I hit 771 to fire Output 1, it states OUTPUT 1 IS ON, but the 1st garage door does not open.

What does happen is that both my wall switches are the type that are lit. When output 1 fires, the red lights get even brighter, but the door does not open. This suggests to me that the wiring is correct, but something else is not working.

Can anyone help?
