Anyone have the Dewalt DC730 drill driver..?
In 2nd speed it makes a loud shudder noise when it comes to a stop. Almost like its an impact driver.
Anyone know is this a defect or normal these days . This is new today. Got from Amazon and was advertized as
DC730 KA but this one says just DC730. Speed 1 is fine.
what is this noise???????????????

May be too obvious, but is it not the clutch slipping when the set torque is reached?

no it only does it in 2nd speed when the trigger is off and the chuck is coming to a stop. It has something to do with an internal BRAKE. But the instructions didnt mention anything and anyone would be curious about this sound, so they should have said something. Its really loud and rat a tat tat sound like an impact drill has..???
