Please HELP, I had a new system installed by PROTECTION ONE on March 09. The tech told me to buy whatever sensors I need and keypads and he would come back to program them for me. Needless to say, he say YES, YES but somehow just flaked on me. I am now stuck with 5 wireless glass breakage, 3 motion, 1 alpha numeric key pad. Protection ONE is not very helpful. THEY WANT ME TO BUY THEIR equipment which is approx 220 per sensor including installation, which is a rip off b/c the sensor is about $50. I have a resource who can program the system but he says I need something called PROGRAMMING CODE for Protection One. Can any please please help me. I am willing to compensate you for your time and effort. Thank you so much for looking........Michael @ Las Vegas.

Need some model numbers. Inside your main control cabinet should be the madel number for the panel and behind the keypad should also be a model number. If its protection 1 then its probally a ademco vista panel with a 6100 series type keypads. also need the transmiters model numbers. Need more info. good luck.

You should have a 320P1 control panel. If it has wireles then it has a 6150PL2 keypad. This keypad supports panels maximum zones. Call and explain your situation to the service manager and see what they say.

320P1 is a Vista 20P branded for P1

The 320P1 is a Vista 20p (the suffix is important) slightly modified for Protection One.
If you look in the sticky titled "Alarm Forum FAQ: Please read before posting" you will find the procedure to access programming and extract the installer code.
It _is_ possible that P1 locked out local programming access, but it's unlikely.

"Honeywell/Ademco 5800 series wireless devices" are what you want to search for.
