I finally found my casting number #1643-6037. I am finding that this number lower unit is used on more than a 50 hp and more then a "500" model. In one case I saw one on a 70hp. Would I expect the gearing to be different if it came on a different HP? At this point i'm just looking for a case, but if I have to buy an entire unit I want to make sure that it is the same as my original.
