I have an rca dvd recorder model drc8052nb and I bought this recorder in 2007. It has been a great recorder and I love it. Today however while cleaning I unplugged the power strip from the wall and when I plugged it back in the recorder now just scrolls HELLO across the front. Its like it is locked up or frozen. I have read the manual and done what it says with no luck whatsoever. If anyone can help me out on this I would appreciate it. Otherwise I will just go out and by another dvd recorder. :madhell:

Hi,

I have the same problem with my rca dvd recorder. It was playing great till there was a power loss in my home. Since the power came back on it is just displaying that "Hello" message.
