we installed this according to the instruction manual . we replaced a trane weathertron thermostat but it does not work.. any clues? the honeywell techs couldnt help

If you forgot to turn off power to your air handler before replacing your stat, you probably need a new fuse.

Trane's B is Honeywell's C.

A simple test would be holding the R wire to the G wire. The fan should run.


If you have an old Trane air handler, you probably have this fuse...

Most fancoils use a 3 amp or 5 amp blade type automotive fuse available at Autozone for $3 a pack.
