does anyone know of a good reference for x-10 mods? I am looking for an IR controlled module that will operate a relay closure. I am pretty sure that x-10 would make something like this, but am unable to find any good references to verify this. Thanks.

I believe you'll need two modules. The IR-X10 (http://www.smarthome.com/8113/Xantech-IR-X10-Interface-Module-IR-X10/p.aspx) converts IR to X10. The second module (example here) (http://www.smarthome.com/2250AW/HomePro-Fixture-Relay-Module-20A-W-AGC/p.aspx) would be your relay control.

Ok, that is some good info. But, I see that the xantech module, that converets the IR to X-10 has an rj45 jack. Where is this jack supposed to connect to? The power relay module apparently operates via RF? is there some type of RF gateway that the xantech module is supposed to connect to?
