I changed my ro filters and chlorinated. When
I chlorinated, I left the new filter cartridge in my AC-30 unit. Now the red light stays on even though I drained it twice. Have I contaminated my ro membrane?

I'm assuming the red light is some sort of indicator that the RO unit uses to tell you when the membrane is exhausted? If so, a lot of those lights run on electrical conductivity of the water and if you allowed chlorinated water to get into the system it may be fooling the lighting system as chlorine is a great conductor when suspended in water. I cannot say I know for sure what triggers the light on your specific RO unit, but if I were you I would do some reading on it and try to find out if it triggers based on TDS conductivity or some sort of gallon meter trigger. If it is a gallon meter trigger you may need to reset it, similar to the way you need to reset the trip odometer in a car after you get gas.
Just suggestions as many RO units have membrane alerts that work on different triggers. Find out what triggers your unit and work backwards from there.

Eco Water makes a light system and the red indicates filters need changing. To reset, disconnect the batteries. When you reconnect, all the lights will blink one at a time.
