I am repairing a neighbors older tar style 6 inch ( underground)
gutter drain pipe that busted on a seam! forced up and misaligned from roots pushing up.
I am cosidering just using some (two halves of) pvc pipe wrapped around and bondo-ed up? A freind suggesting a rubber wrap and clamping.
Keep in mind the pipe direction is a little off kilter not a straight line any more!
I will call a roofing company see what they suggest.
thanks for any and all suggestions.

I would cut a 12" - 16" long section out of the pipe, buy some PVC pipe and a couple fernco (the soft rubber sleeves with clamps at each end) couplings and patch in a new section. Just be careful digging around that tar pipe as I'm sure it's near the end of it's life and will be easily broken by a shovel or even over-tightening the fernco clamps.
