Hello,
I am in the process of remodeling a lower level bathroom and laundry room to a combination laundry / 3/4 bath. This area of the basement has always been a little humid (summer months). Now that I have the opportunity, I want to be sure and put in a quality exhaust fan w/ control. What do you suggest. Should I look for something that brings in fresh air and runs on a timer or humidistat?
Thanks

The two numbers to look at when getting a fan is the CFM and the Sones. CFM is the amount of air the fan moves (Cubic Feet per Minute) The larger the number, the more air it moves.
Sones is how noisy the fan is. Here the lower the number, the quieter the fan will be.
A humidistat or timer would be a good option

As far as air coming in, you may have to add a make up air vent to replace the air the fan removes.
