I installed 12x12 ceramic tile around my tub and on my bathroom floor. How long should i wait to apply my tile guard silicone grout sealer? The can says wait 2 weeks after tiling. Also the can says do not let the sealer dry on the tile, wipe up sealer immediately after applying. I got on the tile guard website to read up about this sealer. the tileguard website said to spray it on and let dry and do not allow mosture to penetrate tile for 2 hrs after applying. This directly contradicts the instructions on the can. Which way is the right way to apply this sealer? Any input would be appreciatted.Thanks.

The brand I use says to let it dry then wipe it off. The problem is that it is very had to get it off especially on dark tile or marble. What I found works best is to follow the directions and let it dry then use a car buffer with a terry cloth pad to buff it clean.

You can apply it anyway you want. You can use a brush, sealer roller applicator, clean cloth, sponge, etc. Just wipe up the excess before you are done, it's not really a big deal. No need to take a buffer to ceramic tile.......lol.
