I have electric baseboard heaters and am going to upgrade from manual thermostats to programmable electronic ones. Here in Canada my choices seem pretty limited - I have only really seen NOMA at Canadian Tire and Honeywell at Home Depot Canada, specifically (the stars below are tiny url without space after tiny):

and

My questions for the forum are:
1. Any other brands I should consider and where can get them?
2. Does anyone have any direct experience with these brands of electric baseboard thermostats - these models would be great but broader opinions helpful.
Thanks!

I have very good luck with the Honeywell down here in our store, and had good feed back on them.
I would go with the Honeywell.

Not sure where you are in Canada, but I've installed both Honeywell and Aube that I purchased from Reno-Depot in Montreal.
The Aube was a fair bit cheaper, but the Honeywell was more user friendly to setup for me and the family.
I'd spend the extra $$ on Honeywell.
