I am looking for a thermostat that can be integrated into a control system, but it needs to be IR controlled. (amx and/or crestron do not apply) any suggestions?

Venstar (http://www.venstar.com/Support/Submittals/T2800submittal.pdf) is one example of a programmable standalone thermostat with IP and IR options.
