I'm getting ready to remove my existing bathroom laminate countertop (with a laminate splash guard and small metal strip around the splash guard). I want to reuse the vanity and both sinks in my new counter top. What's the best way to go about the demo without damaging the walls (around the splash guard), the sinks or the cabinets?
Thanks

Look under neith the counter. Typically these countertops or just screwed on. If it seems the countertop is glued on as well, get a long flexible blade and cut between the countertop and vanity with a sawzall. The backsplash will probably tear the drywall paper off when removing, so you might need to do some repairs to that. I use a wonderbar and hammer, but before that I use a razor blade to slice and caulking that might be there.
