im trying to tak the main wiring harness of a 94 silvardo i got it all except were it goes back into the firewall at the drivers side and i cant figure out how to get it out. do i have to go inside the dash to take it out?

There should be two clips one on each side of the terminals.

Usually they are sealed with a Dielectric grease or a heavy tar to keep out moisture. So it is kind of hard to pull out.

Some others has a bolt that goes through the middle of the terminal block. Either 8 or 10 mm headed.

On the inside of the truck usually the fuse block is held to the body with as many as 4 screws that screws directly into the firewall. While others are held in with nothing but the same squeeze clips.

If you don't mind me asking, why are you removing the harness?
