I have a self propelled snapper mod #MCRP215014KWV and was told that the transmission was toast. I also have an old junk snapper mod #21351PS which I bought for parts for the self propel portion of my mower that were missing. I am wondering if the transmission can be taken off the junk mower and put on my working mower? I also don't know if that junk mower transmission is any good. Any way for me to know that, or do I just put it on and see if it works? Also, is it possible to rebuild the old tranny? I'm just a tinkerer so all of the above may be over my head. Thank you for your time!
