I just laid 12 inch tiles in my kitchen. The room is roughly 13 x 13. That equates to roughly 170 tiles. My grout lines are 1/4 inch. Any ideas how long it should take to grout? Its hard to schedule the job without having any idea how long it might take.

A couple of people should be able to do the job in 2-3 hours. Grouting is petty simple and it goes fast if one person mixes while the other applies. Have all the right tools and materials available. A grout float, a margin float, a mixing paddle, buckets with clean water, large sponges and something to wipe up the grout haze.
I use old towels to wipe off the haze. Do it before it sets up. The grout instructions will tell you when to wipe it up. Do it too soon and you will pull the grout from the joints, too late and it won't come off.

And from a friends experience..if this tile has any sort of stone texture or pitted look surface....do the cleanup/wiping about 3 times more than you think you should. Change buckets of clear water more often. Be a little more careful to not smear the grout all over if the tiles are as I mentioned.
Its a lot tougher to get it off after it dries...picking grout out with a toothpick is no fun.
