I have two very large windows that face the morning sun chipping paint very badly. There is a ledge about 6 inches between the top window and bottom. I started to chip the old paint away and then sand so I could paint fresh paint. Question is there are some spots that I can see that look like they might chip do I work at it and try to chip the paint away or not touch and just put fresh paint over. (interior painting)

Thanks Just joined, laid off and starting lots of home repairs thought this site might help me in some of my projects.
