in the summer our thermostate went out and i replaced it with a honeywell rth7500 model.
A/C system worked great but now that the temps have changed i switched it to heating and the outside heat pump won't come and the furnace will not heat.
any suggestions?
i have inspected the wiring several times and can not figure it out.

You must also configure this stat for heatpump operation. Set option 170 to 7 if you have a heatpump with Auxillary heat.
Option 190 is 0 unless you have a Rhemm, Ruud or Weatherking, which would be 1.
