I have a Goodman GMS80904BN BC Central Air and Gas Furnace. I'm trying to install a Hunter 44660 Programmable Thermostat. I can get the AC to work but not the heater.
I think it is a 5-wire setup but can only trace 4 wires off the board that go down to the t-stat and I just can't figure it out. I have opened the heater unit and found a circuit board with the wires running to it from the thermostat, but I don't know which wire is connected to which function on the board. I've taken a picture of the wires running to the motherboard but can't seem to figure out how to post it. So below is a ASCII representation of the wiring to the AC/Heater Unit.
Goodman-----Wire color------ T-Stat
Y ---------yellow---------- Y/O
W --------white----------- W/B
B --------black----/ does not go to t-stat
G --------green------------ G (fan)
C --------blue------------- RH
/----/---red------------- RC (red wire gets terminal end connected to a black wire not directly running to the board)
Very lost here. Help pls.

T-stat--------------Furnace-------A/C
Y----------Yellow-------Y-----------
W-------white---------W
G--------Green--------G
C--------blue----------C-----------
R--------red----------rh/rc
Do you have a jumper wire between Rh and Rc on the t-stat?
If you don't have C on the t-stat, then the blue wire needs to be tucked into the wall.

Jay, Thanks for all of the help. Will give it a shot and let you know.
I tried the 4 wire configuration since only 4 of the wires off the board go down to the T-stat. Doing that I Installed the jumper between RH RC, should I remove it?

Jay,
It worked great, thank you. I think the problem I had was having the common wire hooked up to the heater relay, which blew the fuse. Only one item of note, on the Hunter 44660 the RC1 and RC wire docks are actually connected internally, so you connect the red wire to RC1, then use the jumper from RC to RH and that is how you set up the 4-wire config.
Thanks again for the help, it was priceless.
