Hi,

I would like to install a switch on my window ac so it run continuously and not shutoff. The starting/stopping wakes us up at night. Is this easy and practicle? I assume it is a matter of opening/shorting the thermometer circuit.

the fan can be continueous but the cooling has to cycle if you jump the stat you will freeze the room out.to make it run longerpull the sensing bulb away from the coil and set the dial to the highes(full CW) number or the lowest number if digital
