I have installed an HE220A humidifer, but am confused by the wiring. The DVD showed one way, the written instructions indicated another, and the wiring diagram yet another. I have the humidifier, sail switch, humidistat and transformer. How is is all suppose to be wired?

Do you have the sail switch in place?
If not, what's the model # and make of the furnace?
is your transformer a plug in type, or hard wired?

Yea, I have the sail switch in place. My furnace is an Armstrong Ultra SX80. My transformer is a plug in.

I am not able to find the manual for your furnace, since you got it put in so far, here how it should be wired.

To clarify, there are three connections on the sail switch - COM, Norm Open, & Norm Closed. Which one(s) should I use?

That is what I thought, and have wired it that way. Nothing happens. No water is going through the selenoid. I've checked the water line, and water is going through it fine and getting to the selenoid. The selenoid doesn't seem to be opening.
