I’d like to purchase a toe kick heater and digital programmable thermostat for my bathroom. The heater I’m interested in is the 120V Qmark S1500TB (http://www.qmarkmep.com/develop/products/spltyheat/QTS.htm)
The thermostat I’d like to use is the Aube TH115-A-120S (http://www.aubetech.com/products/produitsDetails.php?noProduit=11&noLangue=2)
The thermostat wiring instructions (http://www.qmarkmep.com/develop/prod_pdf/ToeSpace.pdf) seem easy enough
but in the manual it specifically says
NOTE: If wall thermostat is used: a double pole wall thermostat
of the type where both poles cycle on and off by
temperature change cannot be used with this heater. Only
one pole may cycle and this pole must cycle heating element
only, not the motor. Cycling both supply leads will
defeat fan delay off feature and result in over-heating and
possible damage to heater.
Will the 4 wires / SPST thermostat I’m interested in purchasing work for this application?

Yes, the SPST t-stat will work with this set up. Just make sure you follow the wire hook up.
