We have installed laminate (entire home) previously, but now live in a different area. Floor Trader sells a laminate "Easy Clic". Any experience with this laminate? We need to do a small office space, but may install in a much larger adjacent area. The quote we were given by a local flooring business about knocked our socks off!
Appreciate any help.

No experience with specific "easy clic", but most of the click lock type flooring is not difficult to install. Much easier than the crappy glue up stuff. The flooring company may advertise $3 per sf to install, but there are hidden costs that aren't on the up front ad. They have to possibly remove old flooring or carpet, its padding and staples. They have to possibly remove shoe molding. I have found it usually runs double that for the job in this area for labor. Don't forget the cost of the padding when you price out your flooring, as it costs 1/2 the cost of the floor in some instances.
