I need advise on selecting chimney cap dampers for a double chimney on my house. I am considering a Lyemance combo. The company sells a unit that attaches to the top of the flue pipe via silicone sealant. It's a bit less pricey than the type that fits over the flue and attaches via set screws. I wondered whether the top mount type will cause any headaches for a chimney sweep? Here's a link to the cap I'm looking at. Thanks.
