I have a small bathroom (8' X 7' of floor space) that I want to install self adhesive floor tiles too. The tiles are a Composite Flooring floor tile, a little more durable than standard self stick tiles I believe.

My problem is the flooring is a chip board. Is there a way to install this over the chip board. Do I need to do something special to prepare the floor?

Thanks for any advice.

hey brewers you really should put down a 1/4 in. underlayment birch would be the professional choice but with sticky tiles you could save a few bucks and go with 1/4 in sanded pine. chip board tends to deform in areas where moisture is present ,and sometimes will actually absorb the adhesive from the tile . good luck p.s go brewers
