The wired stuff seems to be working fine. I seem to be having trouble with all my wireless stuff. I only have 3 wireless transmitters and none of them will work. They did work last week until I started getting the error check 100 RF
Receiver error. Here is what I have done.
*56 and put in all the proper information per the manual and when I go to Xmit mode it does not seem to verify the wireless. Also I still keep getting a check 100 RF Receiver error. I have Google this error and found some things to try and none of them have worked. I even used *97 to reset the system and have not had success.
The wireless I am using is 5816 Door/Window transmitters and the only keypad I am using is a non RF alpha keypad. I also had a 6150RF but this is not being used at the moment.
At this point I am very frustrated and just want the alarm panel to work. If I could get some guidance to finish this up would be appreciated.

thats ur problem ur not using the 6150rf keypad.. the 6150 rf (rf stands for radio frequency) this keypad has a built in antenna receiver... and if you disconnected it.. then the panel has no way of communicating w the wireless contacts.. but the panel knows the wireless contacts are there because the serial numbers are still programmed into the memory of the panel!! so the panel goes into trouble... you either need to reconnect this keypad again or install a receiver for the panel.... if you don't wanna use the keypad again... just install the keypad in the closet next to the panel.... once the receiver is reconnected.... hit ur code + off, then code + off again and this should restore the system

Miami_AlarmGuy,
Thanks for the response to my issue. Sorry for the delay. Anyway I will give your suggestion a try this weekend and see if it resolves my issue. I have no plans on installing an internal wireless unit for the keypad. I am going probably going to sell the rf keypad on ebay and get a normal keypad. Thanks again for getting back to me. Scott

Umm, I don't think you are understanding the problem. You _do_ understand that the 6150RF is the wireless receiver in addition to being a system keypad?
You have wireless alarm devices.
You removed the keypad that contains the wireless receiver that said wireless devices connect to the system with.
You only have two choices if you want your wireless zone devices to work: Reinstall the 6150RF keypad _in_addition_ to the 6160 keypad; or install a standalone wireless receiver board for your system.
