I am new to this DIY forum, but I am trying to find
the manufacturer or name for a foam insulation that is slow expanding so can be applied into closed walls without bursting them. We think it would work better with existing old rock wool insulation then the cellulose stuff.
Thanks
Maryann

Hi Maryann, and welcome to the forum. If you have existing old rock wool insulation, it would be best to remove it before adding the foam. Not sure what the results would be mixing the two. My interpertation of slow rise is that it is a low pressure process, so would not compress or mix completely with the existing materials.
If we back up a couple of steps, what do you want to do? If your house is cold and there is insulation in the walls, then the problem may be elsewhere and may be a lot easier to solve. And less expensive. A few more details about the house and heating system would help.
PS have you priced the foam products? $$$$
