I have manual thermostats in a two zone system and I'd like to make the system programmable. The current thermostats are 2 Honeywell T87K1007 and 1 Honeywell T87N1000. I will probably have a professional do the installation but I'd like to know how many thermostats I need to purchase and what type (programmable or not). Will any brand work? The system is gas and the only model I can find is Lexox Whisper Heat.

Have you taken off the old t-stat and see what wires are hooked up? The main one I am looking for is O and B on the t-stat now.

Also, what is your Zone control board?

When was the last time you had someone look at this furnace? The heat exchanger in these model are know to have issues with it . (Mostly cracking) If it has been a while, or never had anyone look at it, I would suggest having someone come out and look at it.
