I have a home with central air and relatively new, sturdy ducting in the basement. I would like to insulate the ducting since it seems a significant amount of the temperature is radiated into the basement through the ducting walls. Money is a factor at this point in time (new house, new wife, new job...) so I am looking for the best bang-for-my buck with insulation types, methods, et al. What is the easiest way to get this done? Just buy rolls of Pink Panther, wrap the ducts, and cover it in a wrap?
