I moved into this house over a year ago and never hired anyone to monitor this system. Now, the alarm is going off until I cut off a circuit breaker. The phone number on the system does not work. The circuit breaker I have to cut off also affects my AC unit. Now the sytems shows "armed" which it never did before. Please help.

If you are not planning on using the system, then you can power it down. Find the transformer, it is a wall wart plugged into the wall with a retaining screw. Remove the transformer, then disconnect the battery.
