I apologize in advance if this has been answered already or if I am in the wrong forum for it. I have a ceiling fan that the previous homeowner seems to have monkeyed the thumbscrews that hold the light globes on (there are 4) for one of my ceiling fans. I can get the screw almost tight enough to hold the globe on and then it pops and retreats backwards. Does anyone have any suggestions outside of replacing a perfectly good ceiling fan to get these globes to stay on? Thanks!

If it is say 6-32 you could look for an 8-32 and re-tap the hole for an 8-32. Note threads may be metric.
