I'd like to cut out a 30" section of my marble counter top to insert a stove. Can this be done, if so what is the best way to do it without cracking the marble? Thanks.

This is not a DIY project unless you have a wet cutting diamond saw and a way to collect the water before it gets all over your kitchen. Call a pro to do the cut, and it may be difficult to find someone willing take it on because of the risk of cracking the top. It'll probably need to be pulled away from the wall to do the cut, backsplash removed & replaced, and so on. Good luck

It can be done with a skill saw and a diamond saw blade when you get to the edges you will need a saber saw and diamond blade. It's very dusty and risky but can be done. You can get the diamond blade at any home store or Harbor Freight.
