I have a cowbarn with upstairs haylofts I would like to insulate for a wood working shop. I am paying for this myself so I am looking for a cheap and easy solution.
Currently it is Timberframe with one layer of siding with 1/2" + gaps. I was considering laying in a vapor barrier, foam sheets then a wood panel overlay? I want o keep the exposed beam appearance as much as possible.
