My air compressor is hooked up to an Automatic Hotronics Heat Press. Normally, the compressor runs until my heat press reaches 40 psi, the level at which it is set for heat pressing, and then it automatically shuts off. Currently, it starts running and doesn't shut off. When I touched the hose at the base it is really hot. There is a hissing noise but I do not feel air leaking anywhere. \r\n
My heat press is set to shut off at 40 psi, but when I noticed the pressure had climbed to 60 psi and the compressor had not shut off, I turned off the compressor. The air compressor continues to hiss as the pressure reduces.

Get a spray bottle with soapy water and spray around all the connections. You will find the source of the hissing. Fixing that will help it to turn off better.
