I have a Basta Sole umbrella that has a broken rib. I can make a replacement rib easily enough but the rib is held into the hub at the top with a wire that goes through all of the rib ends and holds them to the hub. Has anyone managed to make this kind of repair and if so, what kind of wire did you use and can you suggest any helpful hints.
